This Dunkelweizen is made using special dark malts and a unique Weisse Yeast. Strong Banana and light Clove aromas please the nose, while the beer finishes with a mild caramel flavor. Enjoy this winter wheat while it lasts.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 5/23/13

Aroma: The aroma has some dark fruit, caramel malts, and some slightly sour notes
Appearance: It pours a reddish-brown color with a small beige head and light-medium lace
Flavor: The taste is fruit and metal, it has an oddly sour and some light sweetness
Palate: The body is light-medium, with lively carbonation, a slick feel, and and astringent finish
Overall Impression: This one wasn't very good. There's a lot off about it. The sourness, the metallic notes, and the mouthfeel issues all feel like brewing flaws I guess. This may have been my least favorite of the 3 Evil Genius beers in the pack.

12oz bottle-trade with jtclockwork-tan-dk copper. A-earthy musty grain/med malt. T-slight sourness, earthy musty grain/med malt. Thin. Maybe retry this another time.
