Sample during Blarney Wine Festival 2018 on 03/17/2018. Cloudy reddish-copper color with a medium bone white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of caramel malt, dark fruit and hops. Medium to full body with flavors of roast malt, sweet caramel, citrus and slight piney hop. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle. Pours chestnut brown with off white/tan head ring. Nose/taste of mixed nuts, resin, citrus rind, caramel toffee and earthy malt. Well balanced with a citrus/resin twang in the finish. The flavors are very well balanced and smooth. Medium body.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of drfabulous. A touch hazy, dark purple reddish appearance with a small tan head. A little dusty, rich red fruity, dark caramel, a touch boozy, a bit floral aroma. Dark caramel toffee, pretty thick floral/soapy hoppy, dark plum fruity flavor with a somewhat bitter, floral finish. A little hot but not bad.

Courtesy of nbutler11. The bomber, with a nice looking puppy on the label pours copper with off white head. The aroma offers up pine hops, some spicy notes and a sense of sticky sweet maltiness. The taste is similar with a good load of pine hop bitterness as well as sort of a pine hop sticky sweet malt influenced flavor notes too. Tasty stuff.

On tap at brewery. Fruity, sweet malt, wood aroma. Clear copper, moderate tan head, nice lacing. Flavor was oakey, fruity, with a bitter hops finish. Creamy medium body.

Tap at brewpub. Sweet vanilla toffee malt, oak, and cherry aroma. Chestnut color with moderate head and nice lacing. Sweet cherry malt flavor with a strong bitter alcohol finish. A bit hot - bought a bottle to age.
