Dorée, col blanc crémeux.
Une bière Helles classique avec un apport malté restant sur le pils avec, il me semble, une petite touche de Munich pour une fin de bouche qui accroche plus avec une senteur un peu 'bready' tout en gardant une balance au niveau houblonné sur un effet noble allemand. Au nez, c'est frais, floral et finement fruité sur un léger effet herbacé mais qui conserve son approche noble. Dommage que la date de la bouteille annonce une expiration trop proche.
Palais de même facture - passe très bien avec une pointe de rondeur presque biscuitée qui sublime le malt pils. Une bonne palette houblonnée en retrait - oscillant entre léger épicé/fruité et terreux - le tout oscille entre amertume et discrète douceur maltée. Une bonne bière de soif appuyée par son label régional.

Ein verlässlich hervorragendes Helles. Stabile, feinporige Schaumkrone, getreidiges und klares, reines Aroma, dezenter blumiger Hopfen, frische Säure, wunderbar malziger Nachtrunk. Einfach stimmig.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per l'orzo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata, permanendo in maniera apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, pane, un accenno di resinoso, erbaceo e agrumi.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is grainy malt with grassy noble hops and some fruity tones. Flavour is mild sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. A fine clean Helles with some pleasant noble hops.

Bottle, slight skunk nose. Pour is very light pale and clear. First taste is a little heavy on the veggie side of cabbage. No real date on the bottle but the code is L108142445? Does this mean it was made in 8/14/2024? Can't find info on what that means. If that's the case no wonder its a little skunky, hehehehh. That skunk cabbage nose is really affecting the flavor. I bet this is an old bottle. Decent level of carbonation but could use a tad more. Overall, just wish it was a little cleaner, maybe at least it could live up to the way it looked, not smelled.

Bottle from Honest Brew. Clear gold, small white head, minor retention. Aroma of sweet grainy malts, slightly creamy, lemon, floral and earthy notes. Taste is bready, semi-sweet, creamy grains, slight citrus tang, grassy and herbal hop finish. Light to medium bodied, fairly smooth, medium to high carbonation. Its a good solid example of a Helles.

Bottle on 26th December 2024, received as gift. Pours a clear golden amber with minimal foam and almost no lacing. Grassy hoppiness and sweet malts in aroma. Tangy fruits in-mouth and a blend of fruits and grasses to finish. Full to medium bodied, full carbonation.
