[50cl bottle from my local Sainsbury’s.] A straw coloured pour with a thin white head; sweet grainy aroma with a whiff of farmyard; chewy grain body with a honeyed sweetness; then a crisp grassy finish. A solid Helles, clean and refreshing.

Perfect small mass after an afternoon spent in family, at the Bad Cannstadt spa, a classical German helles with one classical of classic schnitzel, malty, smooth, a bit sweet, mrdium bitterness, a bit light than the edelstoff.

0,5l bottle from BillaPlus in Hainburg an der Donau, Austria. Head is big, white, average retention. Colour is pale gold, clear. Aroma is light bready, bit caramel, herbal touch. Taste is medium malty base, light bready, bit grassy, nice clean taste with subtle bitterness, medium carbonation, good, enjoyed.
