Bottle @Birrifugio Trastevere (Rome). Dorata limpida, brillante, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note di pane, cereali, leggero miele. In bocca è maltata, dolce all'attacco con chiusura un poco amara. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Comfort beer.

0,5 bottle. Traditional Bavarian bottle and old-fashioned label. It looks classic Bavarian. Very light and clean, the head is white, but quite loose. Aroma: Bavarian malt, purity, a little hops, etc.... but there is also intensity. Easy to drink :) what a surprise :) It is weakly carbonated, and has a Bavarian lager hell taste :) There is really not much more to write about these :) Like perfect in its category... for me this is a bit too little... Of course, a perfect drinking beer, etc....

Hagyományos bajor üveg és régies címke. Klasszikus bajornak tűnik. Nagyon világos és tiszta, a hab fehér, de elég laza. Aroma: bajor maláta, tisztaság, kis komló, stb... azért intenzitás is van. Könnyen iható :) micsoda meglepetés :) Gyengén szénsavas, és bajor lager hell íze van :) Igazából sokkal többet nem lehet ezekről írni :) Mint tökéletes a maga kategóriájában... nekem kicsit ez kevés... Persze tökéletes ivósör, stb...

J'ai été plutôt agréablement surpris de cette Augustiner pour laquelle je n'attendais pas grand chose. Rafraichissante, agréable et avec une présence en bouche acceptable, cette bière est plaisante et pas inintéressante. Le visuel est sur un blond paille limpide sans mousse. Le nez est sur une alliance céréales/vin blanc qui titille la curiosité. En bouche, le côté vin blanc diminue très largement pour laisser place à un cocktail basé sur les céréales et agrémentés de légères épices, miel, avec un soupçon de vin blanc et d'herbes. Les épices apparaissent dès l'attaque, relevant bien l'ensemble. Une douceur certaine accompagne le tout. Le sucre aurait mérité d'être un peu moins dosé. La deuxième bouche est plus accomplie avec une présence et une intensité appréciable. L'alcool, à 5,2 % fait le job. L'arrière bouche est un peu plus sur l'acidité (celle-ci restant modérée) avec un retour des arômes de vin blanc. Le final est un peu court, tranquille, sur des céréales légèrement relevées d'épices. Sympathique.

500 ml bottle, from Seven Cellars. ABV is 5.2%. The crowncap had leaked a little during shipping, but most of the content and carbonation was intact. Crystal clear and very pale yellow colour, large white head. Nice sweetish aroma of malts and floral hops. Floral and herbal hops in the flavour, on a background of medium sweet malts. Low bitterness.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours a clear light golden colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, straw, grass, bread and a little lemon. Taste is the same notes again, crisp, malty and with a slight metallic note on the finish but in a good way. Nice fresh lager.

Adding in my 300 Beers To Try ticks because I want to see how they impact my stats and some of them I will never see again. Will however re-rate them when practical. Bottle at Herman Ze German, Soho.
