Thuis uit een halve liter fles. Donkere amber kleur, helder. Lichtbruin schuim. Smaak is wat vlak, licht zoet, licht bitter. Aardig.

On tap at Augustiner Keller Biergarten in Munich. First night in Munich. Pours a clear, brown color, with a huge, rocky, beige head. The aroma is toffee, cocoa, raisin, and molasses. Sweet and roasted flavor, with a spicy hop bitterness. Light body, with a crisp, malty mouthfeel. This is a flavorful and smooth dunkel. Tasted on 8/14/19.

Malty caramelly aroma. Full bodied, almost thick. Malty, toast, caramel. Sweetish with just a hint of licorice. Quality dunkel, fairly complex.

Flaska från Hopt.se. Bärnstensfärgad klar vätska med en rejäl skumpuck. Sirapssöt, brödig smak med lite nötter och karamell med en lätt lite kryddig beska på slutet. Ganska tunn både till kropp och smak. Ok

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Clear amber/ruby body with a thin beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of wood, earth and fig. Flavour of caramel, copper and stewed tea. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Sweet and warming.

Bottle at the Bow Bar. Appearance - dark brown. Lovely head. Nose - nuts and toffee but mostly sweet malt. Taste - more toffee and sweet malt though restrained. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture. The finish is dry and elegant. Overall - great example of the style.
