Tap at the brewery - clear light gold - nose is strong dry limestone/mineral, light wheat, moderate smoke, and mild saltiness/brine - flavor is much the same - one-dimensional sourness, moderate salt, and moderate smoked wheat - fairly simple, lacking the complexity of better examples of the style - I love anything smoked, though, so I can’t rate it too low.

Draft at GABF. Pours cloudy yellow with white head. Nose and taste of smoked wheat, smoked bacon and salt. Medium to lighter medium body.

Tap @ Grimm Brothers. Pours a touch hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Salty, smoked meaty, lemon aroma which is really unique. Somewhat tart lemon, smoked ham, vanilla, juicy citrusy, light lacto flavor. Somewhat salty but held in check well. Pretty refreshing, unique version.
