Our Head Brewer traveled to Europe on a drinking binge. Not really. Okay, yeah really. But in a good way He scoured the Bavarian countryside in search of the perfect pilsner. Researching old world styles of brewing and learning from the masters he created this crisp refreshing beer with spicy Czech Saaz pellet and whole leaf hops, sweet crackery malt and a clean finish.

At mad mex, listed as german pilsner. Creamy head on a pale lager looking thing. Not much aroma. Initially rather mild then the evolution sets in. This stuff morphs into sharp ilsner bite that cannot be ignored. THo not as bitter as expected it is almost in your face. Some co2. Yes, certainly is in line with many modern sharp pilsner beers. A little too much for this lager lover.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a hazy amber=gold color with a thin white head that burns away to a film quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of spiced hops and citrus. Light and crisp body with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and sweet malt. The finish is hoppy with a lingering bitter aftertaste. Above average overall.
