On tap at Pro Brewers Night, AHA Philadelphia 6/27/2013 Dark rich dried fruits and caramel with a bit of residual lingering sweetness. Nice Belgian Strong

Growler from Joe Canal’s in Lawrenceville, NJ. Pours an opaque dark brown color with a small brief tan head. Aroma is sweet roasted malt with dark cherry notes. Rich sweet roasted malt flavor has hints of dried fruit and more dark cherries. Notes of chocolate and prunes. Obvious alcohol presence. Very well crafted with lots of flavor. Gets better as it warms up.

Aroma: It has a nutty and malty nose, with some caramel, and plenty of spice
Appearance: This one pours a brown color, with a small beige head, and light lace
Flavor: This one has a fairly sweet flavor, it is pretty heavy malty, with some spice as well
Palate: It has a medium-plus body, a fairly thick feel, it is a little sticky, and kind of creamy as well
Overall Impression: I found this one to be interesting and quite sweet. It is well made with a lot of flavor. Nice stuff.
