Can from the LCBO.
Black pour, with a huge brown head. Aroma is loaded with chocolate, coffee, some light smoke, and some soy. Velvet mouth feel, soft, and luscious carb. Very round chocolate notes, lots of strong roasty notes, and a medium bitterness with more smoke, and soy in the end.

Bottle. A- Roasty, charred wood, dusty. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Char, roasty, bitter, dry cocoa powder, burnt sugar. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, dry bitter finish. O- A rather robust porter that is borderline imperial but isn't necessarily boozy. Bit too bitter for my liking but an appreciable brew overall.

A deep dark porter with a very thick creamy lacing brown head. In aroma, dark chocolate with coffee, herbal hops, licorice, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, coffee, alcohol warmth, very nice. Can from lcbo, 2 years old.
