Keg at Craft. Black with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, smoky bacon and a bit of chocolate. Taste is bitter and has a lovely bitter finish. Beautiful to drink, the smokiness gives it something extra.

On keg at Brewdog Lothian Rd, Edinburgh. Appearance - opaque black with a thin off white lacing. Nose - boozy and wood notes. Prunes and raisins. Taste - loads of fruitcake going on. Plump raisins and Palate - rich and full bodied. Long linger which is rich but still dry. Overall - great stuff.

330ml bottle. Pours black with a thick tan head, retained for the duration of the beer. Aroma is roasty, smoke, coffee, chocolate, hops. Taste follows suit, strong roast malt and coffee flavours, smoke, sweet chocolate, caramel, sugar, some fruity and piney hop notes, lingering bitterness. Medium-full body, soft carbonation.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours pitch black, with a nice cappuccino foam, reconstituting easily when moved, and very fine. Aroma is rich of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla. Body is just a little dense with very limited carbonation. Taste is pretty bitter. Finish is not as long as I hoped.

Beautiful long lasting beige head. Sweet, intensive aroma of vanilla, milk chocolate, dried plums, caramel. Hops play main role in taste. Starts with chocolate, vanilla and ends with sharp, grapefruit bitter. Low carbonation, medium body. Tasty one.
