Shared by Jay at tasting at my house. Backlog. (I still need the label for this one. If anyone has one or an empty bottle, please let me know). Pours cloudy amber. White head. Nose and taste of wood, acidic dark fruits, wild yeast and funk. Medium body. Finishes dry.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, malt, caramel, and a bit of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and wood - leading to a dry metallic finish. Disappointing.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, grapefruity and slight citrusy. Fruity, sulphorish and dry. Bitter and crisp fruity into a lingering medium dry and yet fruity finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of gn0sis. Pours a cloudy and opaque amber with an off-white head - comes as a violent gusher. Tart Bretty nose with quite some oak. Medium body, tart, caramellish, Bretty and oaky with quite a bitter finish. Way better than its score! 180311

Bottle thanks to someone at the 2010 Summer Solstice but I cannot remember who. Poured a hazy amber with a white head that dissipated to the edge. Aroma had some funk with sour fruits and it was a bit acetate. Flavor had much more funk and a bit of hops. Sour note was much weaker on the tongue.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Not as bad as I was expecting from the ratings. Pours with a small head over a hazy orange body. Aroma of funk, florals and rye?. Taste is bitter, herbal, and spicy hops. Lightly tart, but really not that much there. Light bubbles. Lactic and slightly tannic.

750ml bottle - neat label - this beer is all fucked up - the initial whiff is promising, coming across almost like a gueuze, with moderate funky notes smoothed out by oak - deeper inhales reveal some melon and citrusy hops, but somehow it all seems to work okay - however, the flavor is where it kind of falls apart - begins decidedly funky, with mild acidity - not terribly complex, but decent - then, the hops start becoming noticeable, and just get stronger and stronger - the funk remains, but the hops start adding odd fruity notes, and then become downright peppery in the finish - vanilla notes from the oak arrive late, so the finish ends up tasting like a lightly funky oak-aged IPA (like something Upstream would make) - I don’t know if I like this, or I hate this; my opinion changes with every sip - why would you DRY HOP a sour ale with FRESH Centennial hops? - I don’t know - this is an effed-up experience - I think that this has potential, just don’t dry hop it next times, guys.
