Draft at brewery. Small, off-white head atop a medium amber body. The aroma has notes of cookie, grapefruit and resin. Some pine in the background. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. The finish turns moderately bitter. Medium body with a watery texture. Ample carbonation. OK. And just OK, yet easy to drink. Why not go for one of Bristol’s IPA’s instead of this?

on tap-pours a thin off white head, color is clear amber. Aroma is hops. Taste is hop & malty, a nice balance. This was one of Bristol’s better beers.

Seriously intense hop aroma: grassy, piney, fresh herbs, a little cannabis. Dark copper color with small head, quickly dissipating, with decent lace. Clean light malt is prominent in the flavor, hop flavors are subdued, finishing lightly bitter and dry with a note of honey. Very light carbonation and surprisingly light body, giving it a little too watery a mouthfeel.
