Taster at the pub. Pours a clear, amber color, with a fair, foamy, beige head. The nose is caraway, pine sap, wet grass, and raw grains. Sweet and malty, with an awful, acrid bitterness. Medium body, crisp, and biting. Unfortunate.

Draft at the brewery in CO. Clear amber color with an off-white head. Good lacing. Taste is hoppier than I expected for a red ale but not bad for a pale ale. Not much caramel flavor. Meh.

Bottled. Hazy pale amber, coarse head. Grapefruit and grass up front. Dry with light-medium body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Crystal malt meets grapefruit and grass. Really bitter finish. Basic, but drinkable,

Light amber. Mellow floral aroma is fairly appetizing. Mild bitterness. Floral, light bready malts on the palate. Good, balanced example.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan, with a foamy, patchy head. Toasty, bitter aroma. Medium bodied, quite easy to drink, approaching watery. Solid crisp bitter hoppiness, really evens out the creamy Vienna-malt tones. A touch of fruity ale yeast flavors in there too. OK, sort of a light West Coast Pale with some fruity Oktoberfest/Amber tones going on as well.

Another inoffensive, drinkable, yet uninspiring bottled offering from this brewery - a fairly sturdy malt base sets up and earthy cascade flavor - high hop flavor, but low hop bitterness - some herbal, tea-like character - medium sweet - a little yeasty in the finish - peppery on the tail end - okay.

Bottle via a trade with jbye4334. Pours with a large white head over a hazy golden body. Aroma is a fresh hand full of hops. Citrus and some light crystal. Taste is hoppy, honey and citrus. Medium bubbles. A solid pale ale.

Bottle at Jonesy’s Eatbar in Denver. Pours clear amber-orange with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Bready malt and hops aroma. Light to medium body with flavors of pine, hops and some yeast and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a hops aftertaste that does not linger long. Slightly above average overall.
