Sample at the Biltmore Village taproom. This beer pours a clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Malt, caramel and mild hops in the nose. Light-bodied with a caramel malt character and flavors of mild hops and fruit. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Location: Draft at the brewery, 1/1/15

Aroma: It has a pretty malty nose, with some bread, and a light earthy hop
Appearance: It is caramel in color, with a small beige head, and some light lacing
Flavor: The flavor is similar, more malty than sweet, with a light earthy bitterness
Palate: It has an okay mouthfeel, a light-medium body, and a lively carbonation
Overall Impression: I thought this was a decent one, but it wasn't particularly exciting or memorable. It also wasn't one of my personal favorites at the brewery.
