Bottle shared during the first Late Nite session of RBWG 2015. Pours Clear brown with a creamy tan head. Definitely some peanuts in the nose, nips of cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with oily chocolate, light peanut butter, some roast, toast. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, with a nice mix of cocoa and peanut butter. Tasty.

Coffee, hazelnut, and whole peanut nose, some raisin. Cola brown, thick tan head. Peanut and charcoal flavor, the former dominant.Very mild DMS detected. Finishes a bit cloying. Soft carbonation. This is a very difficult type of beer to brew and like most, this example didn’t quite hit the target.

Bottle: Purchased at taproom. Pours nearly black, rubied....with a thick, light brown head. Chocolate, peanut butter aroma. Flavour is sweet, roasty chocolate, peanut butter. Malty, creamy...slight toasty nut bitter at end. Wonderful...very well done.

Sample from a plastic growler courtesy of Rogueone, under the Triple Digit label. The beer pours dark brown with a medium tan head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted nuts and malt. Light-bodied with a roasty character and flavors of peanut butter, chocolate and malt. The finish is sweet with a lingering roasted nutty aftertaste. Above average overall.
