It might sound like an echo, but it’s not. This collaboration with Stillwater Artisanal explores the true depth of Mango flavor. Three layers of taste and aroma from fruit and hops. Go Mango!

If you’re going to put fruit in a beer, there’s no better fruit to use then mango. At least that’s what Magnus here at Dugges Bryggeri says. So, when there was time for another Dugges x Stillwater Artisanal collaboration, Magnus posed the idea of a mango beer to Brian of Stillwater. Turns out, Brian had the same idea about mango and beer as Magnus. So, we set out to do a mango solo! To make it a sour was a no-brainer. We’ve got nothing but love for our sour collaborations so far, and we wanted to continue exploring that. Said and done, with mango flavor from two types of mango fruit and from mosaic hops we did it. Mango, mango, mango!

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is mango, sweet malts and some slight tropical fruits. Flavour is kind of tropical fruits and fruit salad along with a slight tartness to it. Semidry palate. Nice and refreshing, and the dry palate makes you want to have a little bit more all the time.

33cl bottle as a gift. Pours hazy orange with a modest, off-white head. Sour and with plenty of mango. Fairly refreshing on a hot summer day.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a rich, white head. Solid mango aroma blending in with lactic tartness. Light body, again solid mango notes, dry though on a tart background. There's a little baking yeast. Dry finish with subtle tartness. Refreshing. 010822

33cl bottle from Systembolaget. Poured light orange in color, white head. Mango alright in aroma and flavor. Sourness and more mango. Not my thing.

(Bottle) Golden colour with brief, frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of mango, peaches, orange, ripe pineapple and white bread. Fruity, tart taste with mango, pineapple, peaches, orange, citrus, white bread, herbs and a dry finish with hardly any bitternes and a generous lactic acidity. Medium body, dry. Dry, tart and refreshing with lots of mango and tropical fruit. Very nice.
