Named after that dreaded 2 sets of train tracks that run along our brewery, this malty American style DIPA is a tropical fruit bomb with a nice crisp balanced bitterness.

Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Caramel malt, hops and fruit in the nose. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, caramel malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Pour is a dark almost red with a large white head. Aroma is kind of a oily citrus. It's not wowing me but it's there. Flavor is a sweet malt overload with some bitter citrus hops. Finish is a little alcohol hot with more caramel malt laying on the tongue. Not in my wheelhouse of IPA's. The beer is being retired and I can see why as this is way old school and this brewer makes way better new school IPA's.

750ml bottle courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a nearly clear copper body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweetened tangelo and clementine flowing into a blend of floral hops and malts. The taste delivers pleasing hoppy layers of citrus juiciness and bitterness with pineapple and mango helping to add more depth. To midway it picks up more bitterness mixed with sweet malts and then some floral hops. This has tasty depth and balance. Pretty solid.
