12 ounce can thanks to cheap. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head after an initial foam party. A light honey and dirty malt nose. Somewhat drinkable flavor of super sweet dirty malts, some honey and sweet apples. Not terrible at all. Also not different than so many poorly made pale lagers. Wants to be 10% but alas it only has 5%. Watery.

New rating: Just had a few of these 2013; not bad, much better than in 2009, quite an improvement, even drinkable! old rating 2009: 11112(DNT!) BLEAH! I am insulted by the name of this as a Pennsylvanian, I wish they would just quit calling stuff pennsylvanian. Really pisses me off. If you want to see how this tasted, see my ratings for jaguar or luckey number. Both from melanie and both exactly the same bottom of the barrel beer. Just plain RUDE. Gag reflex continuous. And don’t forget this is cheapie talking, I normally love cheap beers! I am sick of what melanie brewing is doing to the cheap beer image.
