Nice crisp pink coloured tint to a strong copper body, all with a thick, four centimetre tall microfoamed tan head with pink highlights. Aroma of raspberries, sour cherries, light malt and a bit of wheat freshness. Light-bodied; Strong wheat flavour at first with a good amount of raspberries, but no depth (not to be expected, either) and pungency of any real flavours aside from a touch of malt, but that’s very lacking as well. Aftertaste shows the raspberries well, but nothing to sustain them with - no malt depth and no complexity in the flavour profile. Overall, a pretty weak offering, and even at a low ABV, there could be some flavours coming through here, sort of like a gose, and somehow most of those generate a good set of flavours despite the low ABV. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop on 28-April-2015 for US$2,19 sampled at home in Washington on 25-May-2015.

Sampled from the bottle at the Bottleworks. Pours a cloudy pinkish amber with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy raspberry with some earthy wheat and a touch of sweetness. Flavor has much more rich raspberry that is mainly sweet with an earthy wheat backing.

Draft - Sweet raspberry, more like juice. Cloudy pale orange with a thin whitehead. Lots of wheat with a light raspberry. Much better tasting than expected, less like juice and ore like beer.
