While most modern styles of American craft beer originated elsewhere in the world, Cream Ale was born right here at home. We’ve found a lot to like in this golden little beauty: prominent malt notes complemented by a flaked maize aroma that bubbles up through the carbonation, elegantly balanced by noble hops. We think this beer can be summed up in three big words: American. Golden. Original.

Can pour courtesy of Jon. A lightly hazy pale yellow with ring of head, trace sparkle, no lacing. Aroma of corn, cracker malt. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, thin, soft carbonation, finish as taste. A fairly weak version of a pretty boring style.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grainy malt and not much else. Flavor is more of a grain malt with a corn and eggshell aftertaste. Finish is a bit watery but nothing offensive. I am not really a fan or get this style but I guess this would be decent for summer. Just does not offer much flavor.

Sampled from a growler. Pours a clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has nots of sweet cream with a buttery backbone. Flavor is similar with the sweet cream note up front and a buttery finish.
