Powerplant was the very first beer we ever brewed in winter before we had full power supply, hence the name. It is a Belgian classic fermented at high temperatures to bring out all those great saison yeast characteristics. Big aromas of fruit and spice carry through into the flavor. The result is a hearty and complex, yet wholly drinkable beer.

Bottle @ home. Slightly unclear reddish color, full sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, a hint of grapepeel. Taste malts, some brett, grapepeel and slight tart. Hmm on the one hand ok but on the other hand I donβt really like it.

0.33l bottle @ Una. The most over carbonated beer I've ever seen this. A few drops in the glass equals a massive foamy overflow of near everlasting off-white foam. Just ridiculous without being funny. Really wanted a beer now, but I won't be able to drink this is quite some time. What a shame. 4 minutes later... It has a body also. Blurry and coppery orange in color. Smells like fluffy foam with yeast, grapes and alcohol. Kinda sweetish also. Like the aroma. It's massively over carbonated and it doesn't really taste any good either. Old and earthy lots of dust and soil. Really sweet in the taste. Sweet and yeasty alcohol. Tried swirling the bottle a little and the foam gushed, almost hitting the roof top. Crazy over carbonated. Too bad. 13.11.2015

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at the brewery. Amber colour. First reaction: What the hell is this? Sourish, malty, medium hoppy. Hardly a saison in my book, anyway. Not great.

BB 11.06.17, ABV 7.4% (from UJH?). Pours amber with off-white head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is rotten fruits, sourness, diacetyl, floral notes. Flavor is sour, sweet and bitter, fruits, more diacetyl, grass. Finish is bitter, some caramel, diacetyl and a ton of alcohol. Overall: this is really bad (maybe a bad batch/bottle?!). I would prefer average macro lager instead.

Tap at the brewery. Caramel, spicy Belgian yeast, dried peach, fresh cut wood, resin, lots of green leaves, cardboard, unripe berries. Light sweet and sour and medium bitter. Medium bodied. Again not a typical saison, but interesting nonetheless.

Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2015. Clear amber liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of white pepper, red berries, grain and bread. Taste is dry and light bitter with notes of white pepper, floral hops an grain. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Decent but forgettable.
