Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a near black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of dark grains and light chocolate with a bit of roasted malts. Flavor has chocolate and dark grains with a big of a creamy note.

Pour is a black with almost no head at all. Aroma is not real big. Some roasted malt but that’s about it. Flavor is better with a nice roast and coffee. Finish is dry and leaves a bit of the char on the tongue. Maybe a bit thin but is has plenty to offer. Dryer than most milk stout’s I’ve had.

Tap @ The Civil Life. Pours a dark brown appearance with a light brown head. Milky, light caramel, salty chocolate aroma. Burnt malty, lightly milky, coffee, chocolate, light toffee, cola flavor. Pass.
