As a young boy I watched and learned about cider making from Noel White, my grandfather and cider making hero. This cider, a favourite of his, is made from West Country cider apples and aged in barrels from The Jamaican Rum Company. An award winning medium tipple which is full of fruit flavour with a subtle rum finish, but as Noel would of said, ‘drink it careful mind or t’will ave your legs away!’

Cloudy yellow with no head. Aroma had rums, tart apples and came out fairly dry despite the sweet rum. Sweet and fairly dry farmhouse flavour with tart apples and wood. Finished somewhat dry.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Cloudy pale yellow with no head. Sweet aroma of apples and vanilla. Medium body, very sweet and authentic apple flavours again with vanilla. Some rum accents yes, but they aren’t exactly overpowering. Some astringent sourness comes late. 110510

Bottled. A hazy light golden cider with just the faintest head. The aroma has notes of over ripe apples, rum, and a bit of apple core. The flavor is quite sweet, but with a light underlying acidity and with strong notes of apples, alcohol, wood, rum, leading to a tart apply finish.
