On tap @ the brewery during RBSG. Pours a dark orangish brown appearance with a light creamy brown head. Grapefruit, Smarties / candy, piney nose. Lots of hops in the aroma. Slightly watery body. Caramel / syrupy, candy, slightly citrusy flavor. A bit strong. I didnβt enjoy this one too much.

Draft - Rich caramel malts with a nice hop nose. Clear copper with a nice beige head. Caramel, orange and a big hop hit of bitterness without the flavor. A bit out of balance.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a near clear red with a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice grassy hop note with a hint of citrus and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has a grass, straw and grain combination with a touch of pine in the finish.
