Cask handpump at the Hobgoblin Cowley Rd 05-05-06. Decent hoppy beer that I have had both in cask format and bottle lately, nice citrusy notes pleasant enough.

500ml bottle from Tesco. Pale copper thin white head. Nice citrus, flowery hop aroma. Really rather nice. Good astringent mouthfeel. Nice citrus flavours, grapefruit and some pear drops especially on the finish. After so many heavy winter beers, this was a real pleasant change.

Bottle: Deep golden colour, thin lacing, white foamy layer; fine floral hoppiness with malty undertones and a touch of honey and citrus; moderate malty-bitter flavour; short but distinctive bitter-aromatic (herbal/medical) finish with some traces of malts, too. Good and pleasant - fine aromas !
