Bottle. Pours a copper colour with a longlasting off-white head. Fruity malty hoppy aroma with hints of grapefruit. Sweet malty and fruity flavor with some hoppy bitterness. Dry malty and a little watery finish with a bitter aftertaste.

Medium offwhite lasting frothy head over deep hazy yellow body with ongoing carbonation. Citric, smoky hop aroma with notes of tea. Taste is chewy citric tea with dryish aftertaste. Slightly chemical notes in the aftertaste. Quite good. (0.5l bottle served too cold, but gave it a long wait.)

500 ml brown bottle, "thrice hopped", courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Golden colour, with a slight haziness (due to cold temperature?), moderate head. Nice hoppy / grapefruity aroma. Pleasant hoppy / grapefruity flavour too, spritzy mouthfeel. Distinctly bitter finish / long aftertaste. Not bad!

Pour is a dark gold with a small white head, Aroma is hard to detect but there are some malts present. Pale lagerish is how i would describe it. Flavor is a little better, sweet malts and small amount of hops show up. Touch up the hops and you may have something here. Finish is dry and bitter. Nothing really great from a lackluster brewer.

0.5L bottle. Deep golden color with off white head. Very light aroma of floral, citrus and maybe pine hops. Nice flavor from floral, citrus and pine hops along with lightly roasted and biscuit type malts. For an English hoppy ale it isn’t too bad. Flavors paint an interesting picture.

Bottle: subtle herby citrus aroma; pours a clear gold with a thin white head - quite lively; balanced fruity flavour with a bitter aftertaste. The best Wychwood beer I’ve tried for ages.

Golden color; nice head. Strange aroma, with vegetables, metallic, red wine. The taste has some malt, some malt crispness and a pretty high bitterness; it has a quite dry mouthfeel and the final is also lightly metallic. Nothing special.

On bottle 0,5l at Tromsø Ølfestival 17 Aug 06. Clear golden colour. Creamy head. A pleasant citric aroma. Fruity (orange/grapefruit) flavour leading to a cautious bitter finish.

500ml bottle at the Beer Festival in Tromsø (17.08.2006). A bit unclear, orange body over a white foamy layer. Inviting floral-hop aroma. Orange fruity sweetness in taste with lots of hops and a dry, balanced bitter ending. As others have pointed out, this must be one of the best from the Wychwood Brewery - almost blond magic.
