(tap) clear amber colour with a small off white head; aroma of citrus; balanced flavour with a slight short bitter finish; pleasant mild session ale - far from being a ’hop bomber’ though :-)

12oz bottle. A pretty solid beer, incorporates the rye well. Filtered glowing orange, big frothy off-white head despite the micro-hiss when opening the bottle. Hoppy, earthy, rye aroma. A nice steady bitterness, a nice steady sweetness. Quite well balanced, a very enjoyable beer. Classic, easy drinking. Nice to see the rye malt used judiciously.

Clear deep gold with a tall white head. Earthy hop and malt aroma. The flavor is lightly bitter with lots of dryness at the finish. OK, nothing great though.

Bottle from Bittermestupid. Thanks Greg! Pours copper with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of fruity/floral hop over light caramel. Near med body. Flavor is lots of floral/fruit hop over rye spice. Finishes hoppy and spicy. Very nice.

bottle sampled Jul 16, 2012 - Pours lightly hazy amber-orange with a small light tan head. The aroma is of citrus hops and indistinct grainy/bready malt. It tastes at least moderately bitter, maybe more, and is balanced by malts that lend it a medium body and good balance. The finish is definitely on the bitter side. Pretty good.

This brew is a clear copper color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of hops, malt and a bit of spice. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops character and notes of citrus and sweet malt. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.
