Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a golden ruddy orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Some stringy lace.
The aroma had some grapefruit sweetness, grassy hops and a sturdy malt backbone.
The flavor was moderately sweet with some bitterness trying to poke through. Lightly blended aftertaste with a semi-dry finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Light carbonation and the ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, decent DIPA, maybe again.

Pours clear gold into a snifter. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Caramel, resin and tropical fruit aromas. Medium bodied and dry with dark caramel, resin and pineapple front to back.

Bottle. Pours orange gold with white head. Nose/taste of canned pineapple, mango, dried citrus, caramel malt, passion fruit, sugared grapefruit and grass. Taste is a bit more subdued than the nose with peels and husks rather than ripe fruits, but still excellent with a touch of ripe passionfruit. Dry finish. Medium body. I’ve had three beers from this brewery and I’ve liked all three. I’ll have to try more next time I’m in the area.
