Bottle. Pours a light brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is yeast, dark fruit, pure sugar. Medium mouth, rye, light spice, boozy finish, good.

750 mL bottle from Ale Alpharetta. Pours a slightly hazy, reddish-orange, with a small beige head. The aroma is candy orange slices, caramel, cinnamon, vanilla, and some light earthiness and some resin. Very sweet and malty, with a fairly significant savory spiciness. Heavy body, sticky, and syrupy. Overall, this is a big, boozy, malty beer. Not very subtle, but delicious, spicy, and thick.

Bottle at RBWG 2014 grand tasting, thanks! Pours a clear orangish amber with a bubbly gray head that starts at the edges and dissipates completely. Aroma has notes of grain and hay with a bit of honey and heat underlying. Flavor has notes of sweet grain and hoey with some booze and whiskey backing.
