A premium lager of purity and freshness brewed using Galaxy and Cascade hops and the finest English malted barley. Then for a cleaner, fruitier and more aromatic finish, re-fermented with Champagne yeast and a ‘dosage’ of rare Nelson Sauvin hops. This is a lager for people who love beer.

330ml bottle purchased at Spar Tomasjord, Tromsø. Pours a clear golden body, with a big head that rapidly diminishes into a filmy layer and leaves some lacing. Aroma of grapes, straw, sweet yeast and fresh hops. Very pleasant and smooth, grapes, hints of lemon and vanilla. Dry sweet finish. Very nice and refreshing drink on a warm evening under the midnight sun! (06.07.14)

Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of lemons, hops, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle. A dark golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Floral, fruity aroma. Tastes fruity, floral, champagne like, slightly sweet. I had 5 bottles of this at a friends house and it wasn’t bad at all, surprisingly drinkable actually.

330 ml bottle from ICA Stakkevollan. The words on a well-made label made me curious, no pun intended. I am afraid the cap on the bottle I purchased was not completely sealed. as there was little or no head nor carbonation to speak of. Body is clear and has the golden colour of late summer grain fields. Aroma is invitingly sweet with notes of citrus and hops, which continues in flavour along with some malts. Except for the lack of carbonation the palate is quite dry with some bitterness. Goes down well, and I believe an unspoiled bottle would put this well above most commercial lagers. (At home, 280314).

330ml bottle from Waitrose. Looks like a basic pale lager. But with a very defined flowery aroma and subtle aftertaste. Nice.
