bottle - Pours very pale, clear yellow with a light, bubbly head. It has a grainy aroma and not surprisingly, a minimal, grainy taste. Itโs thin, almost but not quite like drinking carbonated water. Bleh.

Sample at AleFest Dayton: Still trying to figure out why I wasted a ticket on this. Weak straw color with a minimal white head that dissipates quickly. Next to no lacing. Metallic smell. Light-bodied with hardly any flavor or substance. The finish is watery but is the only place where there is even a suggestion of hops. Worthless.

Super light beer. Almost looks like water with a small fizzy head on it. No flavor or redeming qualities.

Just a tick ahead of Michelob Ultra only because it has the hint of beer. If youโre on the Adkinโs diet and desperate for a beer, go ahead and buy some. Otherwise avoid like the plague.

2004 bottle. Was going to save this for my 800th rating, but what the hell. Smells like rolling rock. Papery cardboard mixed with slight mushy apples, but to a lighter degree. Flavor is appley barley and adjunt. Very clear, fizzy. To be honest, this is much better than Mich Ultra and Rolling rock (again, the usual, if you take a bad tasting beer and take away some of its taste, it tastes slightly better). Finish tastes like soda water, lots of carbonation and more soda water.

I am so sick of the low carb craze... it makes me sick. Everything is low carb, no carb these days. People wanna lose weight, excersize. That being said, I just had to sample Rock Green Light, since my mom had a bottle of it, and didn't care for it, I took most of it. Clear, long-drinking-night-pee looking, tiniest of heads. Lots of carbonation. STINKY! Moldy grass smelling. Yuck. This beer isn't bad... because water is our friend! However, when my beer has very little flavor other than water, I'm upset. This is water with a single piece of grass in it. SO incredibly flat in your mouth. Why bother with this beer? Can they even call this beer? It's drinkable as hell, because there's no taste, no filling, no ANYTHING. However, I'd never drink this crap again.

Golden, fading foamy artificial seeming head. Not skunky miraculously, but still lousy aroma, musty, papery, dirty (of dirt, but not earthy). Expectedly light in body, tinge of sweet pure malt. No aftertaste at first, then gradually an astringent and thoroughly unpleasant bitterness rises. After 4 swallows, I adapted to the bitterness. The sweetness became somewhat adjuncty after multiple swallows, compared to the pure malt I detected at first. On second thought, I had not adapted to that finish...down the drain it goes.
