The Helles style was first brewed in Munich in 1895 and is now the most popular beer style in all of Germany. Like the classic German Helles style, Leinenkugel’s® Helles Yeah™ is an easy-drinking, everyday beer but ours is brewed with American hops for a bolder taste, brighter aroma and snappy clean finish.

Average helles, very cereal in nature, but bland. Decent appearance, with nice frothy head. Slightly sweet, but weak in aroma and taste. No lingering palate either. Nice try, but...meh.

Bottle. Lemon/orange malt and hay/straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet citrus, barley malt, and hay flavor. Not bad - hoppy for the style.

Pour is a clear yellow with a large white head. Aroma is grassy hop with some dry malt. Flavor is decently hopped with more bone dry malt. Finish is bitter and clean. This is a decent helles that has a nice hoppy profile. One of Leinies better beers.
