Inspired by London’s Industrial Revolution when Smog filled the air and the Porter was the beer of the people. An original home brew recipe using 9 different malts including a good chunk of smoked ‘Rauchmaltz’ from Bamberg, Germany. Big flavour hits of molasses, raisins and caramel are cut with the resinous US hop Chinook. Smokey aromas fly, reminiscent of the smoke stacks of industrial London.

330ml. Can – Pours a clear dark black colour with a small tan head that settled. Aroma is roasted malts with some initial chocolate followed by malted bread and some smoky notes. Moderately sweet taste, mellow roasted malt, bread and chocolate flavours, some smoke and soft bitterness in a long duration.

Bottle. Color: Black, dense light brown head. Taste: Roasted malt, notes of coffee, hints of caramel and smoke. Moderate sweet, decent bitterness. Medium body, below average carbonation. Pretty long bittery finish. Smooth. A nice traditional English porter.
