Inspired by London’s Industrial Revolution when Smog filled the air and the Porter was the beer of the people. An original home brew recipe using 9 different malts including a good chunk of smoked ‘Rauchmaltz’ from Bamberg, Germany. Big flavour hits of molasses, raisins and caramel are cut with the resinous US hop Chinook. Smokey aromas fly, reminiscent of the smoke stacks of industrial London.

uit blik, schenkt zwart met minimale bruine kraag. aroma van volle donkere chocolade, koffie, geroosterde en gerookte mout. smaken zijn redelijk zoet, matig bitter, sterk moutig van gebrande en geroosterde mouten en gerookt. beetje asbak/as beleving, ham, haver. medium body, dun van textuur, lage co2, zachte en romige smaakvolle rokerige porter. nice

Flaska från Alesbymail. Smak och doft av rostad malt, choklad, kaffe, aska, rök, brunt socker med toner av lakrits. Rund och len, fin rökighet och viss syrlighet, torr med lagom sötma och beska. Välbalanserad, mycket gott!

330ml can. Black color with beige brown head. Roasted malty and light hoppy aroma, chocolate, caramel, bready, light fruity, light smoked, wood. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

LSAT Freedom Trip #198. Can shared at a tasting. Dark brown, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, mild smoke and nuts. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, mild smoke. Medium bodied.

BB 09/2016. black color, medium big coffee-colored head. smells of smoke, bacon, creamy, spices, some coffee, nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of charcoal, smoke, light bacon, spices, earthy, light coffee, roast, some bitter chocolate. finishes with ash, spices, a bit soapy. good stuff, drinks very good, rich flavors.

Sample at SBWF. Pours dark brown with off white head. Smoky aroma with oak, chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Taste is smoky with chocolate, roast and some caramel. Finishes roasted.

Can, thanks SirLimpsalot. Black with a tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, light smoked ham and smoke. The finish was medium bitter. An ok one although a bit on the thin side.
