La Curtius is a blond beer brewed using premium quality products, recognizable through its light taste and refreshing flavors. Composed with different barley malts and wheat, its base gives it a pleasant lightness while the addition of aromatic hop blossoms provide a subtle bitterness in conjunction with a flowery and fruity flavor. Its unique and progressive taste is the result of multiple fermentation steps, conducted over several months. Curtius deserved a quality and prestigious bottle suitable for the contents. This is why we chose a 37.5 cl corked bottle, just like champagne. Of course, Curtius is also available in kegs.

At Bruges Beer Fest 2017. Pours hazy yellow with an average frothy white head. The aroma contains hops, spices and some malts. It tastes medium to light bitter. Watery texture, soft carbonation. Nothing wrong, but a bit ordinary.

Piwko fajne przyprawowe, przypominalo solidnego saisona. Alkohol niewyczuwalny, dobrze ukryty pod spora warstwa osadu, metnosc ogromna juz podczas nalewania pierwszych strumieni juz widac bylo ze jest to niefiltrowane naturalne piwo. w kieliszku Teku powstala gigantyczna piana, utrzymujaca sie do samego konca degustacji. Zlocista metnawa barwa zapach przyprawowy, swieze wypieki drozdowe. Smak to orzezwiajace wino musujace z dodatkiem szarlotki ze spora dawka cynamonu.

375ml corked & caged bottle from local mini market in Spa, Belgium. Pours hazy gold with large fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet sugary Belgian yeast. Taste is standard aromatic yeasty sweet Belgian blonde territory. Pleasant, lightly spiced, with soft vanilla, coriander and delicate aromatics. After an evening of uber bland English cask, this was needed!

37,5 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Hazy golden with a white head. Fruity yeasty spicy aroma. Light sour taste with very lively carbonation. Reminded me a bit of a mix between that champagne beer Deus, a lambiek and a tripel. Good unusual beer.
