La Curtius is a blond beer brewed using premium quality products, recognizable through its light taste and refreshing flavors. Composed with different barley malts and wheat, its base gives it a pleasant lightness while the addition of aromatic hop blossoms provide a subtle bitterness in conjunction with a flowery and fruity flavor. Its unique and progressive taste is the result of multiple fermentation steps, conducted over several months. Curtius deserved a quality and prestigious bottle suitable for the contents. This is why we chose a 37.5 cl corked bottle, just like champagne. Of course, Curtius is also available in kegs.

hazy pale yellow colour, moderate sized white head, which collapses quickly leaving back only some lacing; aroma of wheaty-grainy, moderate citrusy, floral, yeasty-earthy and maybe minimal fruity notes, taste of malty-candy sugar-like sweetness with some hoppy notes, some apricot (?), as well as citruses and earthy-metallic notes; quite enjoyable ale

Bottle from the Offie, Leicester. Light golden, hazy with lots of visible carbonation and a fizzy white head. Light notes of lemon zest, hay, candy sugar yeast, vanilla, sweet spices in the scent. Sweet taste with some grain and yeast flavours, with the bitterness of a citrussy hop in the finish. The heavy carbonation and light body give in a pleasant effervescence that hides its strength. Good stuff.

375ml bottle pours a mostly clear gold with lots of fizzy carbonation and some sticky, frothy white head. Nose is interesting, it's part tripel and part geueze, stinky onion, lemon rind, pineapple, very beery. Flavor is sweet, candy, pineapple, sweet melon sorbet, no tartness here, some stale malt. Finishes sweet, sticky. A little overblow.

Közepes, hófehér, nem túl tartós hab, szőke, homályos szín. Citrusos, malátás, enyhén fűszeres illat. Száraz, malátás, fűszeres, enyhén citrusos ízvilág. Közepesen testes, erősen szénsavas, enyhén keserű, kissé élesztős. Tisztességesen összerakott, kellemes sör.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Slight hazy light golden with big white head. Coriander, quite yeasty, soft buttery dough, cloves, grass, light bready malts. Medium sweet and just medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bit creamy feel. OK.
