Tap at Draught 55. Pours very dark brown with fine head. Nose is all rye. Probably the most heavily rye tasting beer I’ve ever had, other than rye you get light citrus, some piney bitterness, spicy grains, and chocolate. Really strong flavors and somewhat astringent. Touch harsh.

The Sampler, Bushwick tap: Pours a muddy brown with a small head. Aroma is citrus, rye, and some chocolate. Taste was a bit disappointing. It definitely had a lot of rye going on in there. It definitely has hints of chocolate and plenty of hops, but it does not seem to be well put together. the first disappointing Finback that I had. Hopefully, the next one I try will redeem this.
