@zebf 2014 - Red brown colour. Strong malty aroma. Flavours of sweet red fruits and fruity hop. A good American Red.

Despite the promise of the description, it’s quite a forgettable beer. Just a strong red ale, with some artificial fruits. Meh.

Flaske 0,65l. Gave fra Rune. Drukket på RV124 31 Des 13. Mørk amber. Høyt sammensatt pent skum som varer lenge. Litt lacing. God fruktaroma. Fersken. Smaken bra balansert. Plommer & svisker. Behagelig syrlig & bitter etter hvert.

660 ml Bottle. Ladna lakierowana i swiateczna butelka. Elegandzka stylistyka, a takze ladne czerwoniutkie piwo. Z kremowa spora i bardzo trwala piana. Zapach uderza w nozdrza chmiel Amerykanski, stawialbym na Amarillo, moj ulubiony gatunek. W smaku chmiele nadal dominuja. W smaku gozowy grejfrut a takze szarlotka i mus czekoladowy. Swiateczne akceny raz sa slodkawe a raz goryczkowe. Fajnie to wspolgra ale jednak przy dominacji cytrusowej koncowce. Slod jest Troche w stylu English Strong Ale ale rzecz jasna przy zastosowaniu sporej ilosci lokalnych chmieli z USA. Alkohol 8,5% wogole nie wyczuwalny. Piana ciagle stoji, nawet jak juz niewiele pozostaje w pintowej szklanicy piwa

Bottle from Bierkompass.de. Beautiful dark red copper, clear body with big, frothy, slighty beige head, that leaves a lot of lacing. Wonderful complex aroma of peach, mango, red and dark fruits, litchi, citrus, pine, honey, caramel, alcohol, ... Tastes of honey, dried, red and tropical fruits, pine, caramelic malt, spices. The mouthfeel is medium, oily to creamy, with a good carbonation and a complex bitter, fruity, malty, alcoholic and slightly astringent finish. Delicious strong ale! Unique, complex and greatly balanced between sweet, bitter and spicy. A great winter warmer, that releases more and more aromas the more it warms up.

Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Clear, dark amber. Tight, off white, lasting, lacing head. Looks boss. Big, fruity, caramel sweetness. Lots of oily hop character. Grapefruit pith bitterness. All backed up by a chewy, malty, grainy, who needs to eat, when beer provides all the nutrients you need, goodness. Would have scored much higher, but for the considerable wallet lightening!

Bottle @ benzai. Copper colour with a small to medium sized off-white head. Smells hops, pine, resin, spruce, christmas tree. Tastes hops, pine, resin, bitter . Sick double ipa. Medium to full body, nice carbo.
