Bottle at RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong spice, roast, wood. Thin body, bread, roast, vanilla, not much sourness.

Bottle @ Rare Beer Breakfast 2016. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty spicy caramel aroma. Roasted malty weak sour spicy caramel chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty sour tart caramel chocolate finish.

Bottle at RBWG ’15 Grand Tasting @ Coppertail, thanks yet again to Adam, 21/02/15. Black with a dirty tan swirl and edgeing. Nose is light roast, tar, chocolate notes, spice. Taste comprises tangy red berries, chocolate, spice, light wood, lactic ring. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok sour.

[2/17/15] Draught at The Libertine Pub in Morro Bay. Black. Sourish aroma of dark chocolate, fruits, vinegar, roast and a spicy touch. Very sour flavor with a bit of chocolate, vinegar, fruitiness and a spicy hint. Medium-bodied. Decent, but sourness is somewhat harsh.
