Aroma of malt, caramel, dried fruits, bread, chocolate notes. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. I’m not generally a fan of Bocks, but every once in a while I stumble upon a good one.

Bottle 0,50ltr: Dark brown Bock, but if you don’t know, you thinks this brew came from Belgium. Its got some caramel, nutty taste.

500ml bottle. Clear, auburn colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Slightly grainy malty as well as slightly caramel malty aroma, minimally earthy-grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally dark malty with a weak roasty touch, hints of caramel, a touch of malt lozenge; a minimally warming, alcoholic touch in the finish. Watery texture, indifferent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively simple and monotonous, not much depth - acceptable.

Light malty aroma with mango and apricot. Full bodied. Malty sweet flavor with loads of tropical fruit (peach, pineapple, apricot and mango) and a touch of roasted malt to match the fruit a bit. Quite nice.

Pours brown from the bottle. Aroma of mineral water and caramel. Taste is sweet with a bit of acidity and saltiness at the end. Otherwise not much going on. Body is medium, carbonation is soft. Me and Lahnsteiner brews don’t seem to get along and this one has proved no different.

Dark brown and clear with fluffy head. Aroma is slightly metallic. Very malty overall. Good but a little more body and sweetness would be welcome.
