The palest body and wheat make for the “lager” of the ale world -- almost as light as you can get. As an American wheat you get a subtle citrus from the hops, instead of the heady bready notes of a German hefeweizen with banana and clove or the Belgian spice of coriander and orange--it’s a simple clean wheat that gets a moderate boost of body from the wheat.

These kinds of Americanized wheat beers have been the exact kinds of beers I've disliked over the years. They sit middle of the road between flavorful craft beers and bland light beers, sometimes an obvious pandering to people who don't like beer who find themselves at a brewpub. But this one surprised me. It has a nice medium mouthfeel, pronounced bready, wheaty, and lemony aromas and flavors, modest bitterness, and overall nice drinkability.

Soft lager, aroma, decent gold body with nice head. Flavour is a modest grain and wheat mix. Crisp mouthfeel. Okay, good finish.

12 oz bottle at The Fish House Encore in Key Largo, Florida. The pour is a mostly clear golden orange with not much of a white head. The aroma is wheat grain along with a bit of lemon citrus. The taste is clean wheat grain with a touch of the lemon citrus towards the back. The palate is light bodied with low carbonation and a clean enough finish. Solid.

Can. Received at random along with another from brewery. Decent little wheat. Weak in complexity, but great for drinking in the sun

At MIA. Fair amount of citrus. A little juicy but not overtly so. Hazy yellow-orange with moderate white head. Taste is juicy and sweet - but nothing too offensive.

19.07.2015 - pours hazy orange-yellow with a small head and little lacing. nose: yeast, honey wine/mett, vegetables (cabbage?). flavour is slightly spicy, doughy. ok, but does not feel very fresh or crisp. 29.02.2020 - an old bottle from 2015. still yeast and mett on the nose, citrus and vegetables on the mouth.

Light tan. Aroma is a bit yeasty and a little bit fruity/corianderish. Light fruity taste, but pretty sweet and the malts are a bit thick and doughy.
