A triple beer. The colour is blonde to slightly amber. The beer has a sweet to spicy taste. A traditional beer with high fermentation level, produced in small quantities, using only natural ingredients: hops, yeast, water, spices and barley malt.

Bottle 330ml (from BBF, bottled 10/2014 or 13)
Hazy orange color, decent white head. Jammy alcoholic apricot fruity nose. Medium-bodied. Honey, apricot, banana in the sweet flavor. Quite heavy sweet tripel. More with alco punch than hoppy.

bottle . Pours clear blonde, good white head . Smell is malty , sweet a bit , but doesnt have that fresh malty scent . Taste is bitter , metallic grainyness builds up very intense . Rather simple , and I assume the metallic overpowering taste is not what it means to be , but its not per se bad to me ..

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. Dark golden with a big white head. Yeasty fruity aroma. Sweet taste with some harsh metallic finish. Not a very balanced or refined tripel.

Tripel with thick, cream white, moussy head, breaking open under influence of the alcohol, and yellowish peach blonde colour, hazy. Fruity and spicy aroma of orange, pineapple, peach, liquorice, coriander, vanilla, grass, lemon peel and quite noticeable, whisky-like alcohol. Fresh fruity taste, sweetish but not sugary, citrussy, quite sharp carbo, soft caramelly maltiness, peppery spice notes (coriander, ginger?) and mild herbal hoppy finish with bready yeastiness, something bark-like and warming, but not too astringent alcohol. Not the most subtle or original of tripels, but I enjoyed this.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig süß, alkoholisch, Nüsse, Früchte. Geschmack sehr süß malzig, dunkle Früchte, hefig, leicht alkoholisch.

33 cl. bottle @ home. Split with Kogymo. Procured from Willems. Almost clear light golden with a white head only on the sides. Smells like cheap cornflakes, oxidation, synthetic honey, really bad, cheap synthetic sweetness. Highly metallic taste, tastes of almost nothing besides iron and other metals (that is new), cheap sweet synthetic, very thin & bad honey, watery. Touch oily, watery. Really bad.

Standard Belgian tripel. Bit too sweet for my taste, I like them more bitter and grassy.
