Crisp, clean, citrusy. Grapefruit Blonde. Summer Session Ale. Easy drinking with mild acidity.
Ingredients: Organic malted barley, organic grapefruit zest, organic hops, house ale yeast.
Folly’s Pride, our summer session ale, aka grapefruit blonde, is out on the market and getting a tremendous response. We love this beer, made with 10 lbs of fresh organic grapefruit zest. There was an article in the City Paper about our collaboration with the Juice Joint to make the beer. Re-selling the grapefruits to an organic juicer was the only way we could make this work, so we did it!

Can: Hazy yellow with a tall white head. Wheat, orange/grapefruit scent. Taste is fairly solid wheat malt, orange-peel, grapefruit-peel. Ok....a little dull....a bit more citrus zest would have been welcome.
