Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was faint, roasty, bitter and woody. The flavor was mildly bitter and roasty with a bit of wood and dark fruit. Long finish. Medium body. Meh.
