Forged from the finest Maris Otter malt and a special blend of American hops. The nose is of fresh citrus and berry fruits with a smooth juicy malt character and deceptively moreish finish that belies its strength.

500ml bottle from The Offie in Leicester. Pours clear pale golden with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of tangy orange, citrus, raisins, hops & malt. Medium body. Smooth light bitter finish.

Cask at The Haymarket, some time back now, so a memory banks rate for sure. Poured clear gold, foamy white head. Light aromas of tropical fruit, light dusty pale malt. Taste was light bitter, more fruit, bitter finish. Very enjoyable, hope to see it again.

And another beer I would have swore I've had. Almost clear gold beer, with a small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate, very mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, traces of malt cream and grain. The hoppage is smooth pine into juicy citrus with a pleasing bright edge. Some hay notes on the back end. Really like the hop edge on this one, for the style I mean, really enlivens this one into a very good potential sessioner.

[May 2022] Legendary beer, sampled before its retirement - clear and golden with a frothy white head and a floral, hoppy aroma. Taste is biscuits and hops, less of the latter, but still a decent pale ale with hints of fruit and a dry finish

Cask @ Kitty's, Helsinki. Poured light golden in color, small white head. Floral and citrusy with a a small bite, dryness in finish. Drinkable for sure, went down quckly.

Cask at Hops, Crewe (4/10/23). This is the version produced by Thornbridge, but I have also drunk the original Kelham Island version, though I donโt seem to have rated it. Pours a golden yellow with as mall white head and good lacing. The aroma has malts and citrus plus some hoppy hints. In the mouth it is sweet with floral hops, oranges, grains and low carbonation. Later on some sharpness creeps in too. This is entirely reasonable โ nice and refreshing.
