Batch 8: Coriander, light malt aroma. hazy yellow, medium head. Watery. More malt than a wit, but relatively weak. I hoped for more.

Batch 009 bottle, shared by badnewsbeers. Murky straw-yellow body, thin off-white head. Leafy nose with lemon and pepper, grassy, like a strong pilsener. Herbal, floral, bitter body with lemon notes. Dry. Nice.

12 oz tulip draft at the Stone World Bistro in Escondido, California. Pour is a fully hazed cloudy yellow with a smallish white head. Aroma is grainy resin banana pineapple citrus, along with a wheat texture. Taste is the pineapple clove up front, with the grainy malt in the middle, finishing with earthy mineral crispness. Really complex, crisp and fresh. Palate is lighter bodied, unfiltered pleasantly chunky mouth feel, and featuring a dry mineral in the finish. Super fresh, super great depth of character. Really nice.

375mL bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours very cloudy yellow with a small lingering white head. Aroma of champagne yeast, brett, floral notes, a sharp hop bite and wheaty end. Flavour is extremely yeast, with brett and dry chardonnay flavours filling the palate, then sort of disintegrates in your mouth. Long lingering yeast finish. Very solid.

Draft at Falling Rock. Hazy golden-orange color, big white head..probably filtered? Dry straw, barnyard aroma. Lots of dry, hoppy notes. Quite clean and drinkable. World Class beer, very subtle, delicately delicious. Medium bodied, sort of like an exceptionally clean Orval or Taras Boulba. Awesome. Some Saison tones.

Bottle from Healthy Spirits, San Francisco. Very pallid golden pour with a thin white head. Sweetish nose with notes of yeast and summer/citrus fruit. Quite lively carbonation. Flavour was similar with notes of spice and grassy hop. Vague tartness. Dried out towards the finish. Clean, easy drinking and pretty likable stuff.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily. Rings of lacing. Aroma of doughy malt, pepper and fruit. Medium body with flavors of yeast, sweet malt, spices and fruit. The finish is citrus and yeast with a sweet aftertaste. Above average overall.

Batch 3, 375 ml bottle courtesy of MrChopin, thanks! Cloudy yellow, big white head. Aroma of sour orange peel and light spice. Great body, dry, smooth, slightly sweet but ultimately sour. Nice character and complexity. Batch 5, 375 ml bottle, also from MrChopin. Not as complex or smooth, lighter body. Still decent stuff.
