"Zinnebir X-Mas? No, WINTER MESS!
The name has changed, not the recipe! Our winter beer is back, with her caramel and chocolate flavours, the creamy foam, her fruity nuances, and her dry and bitter finish."

First tasted at Brugs Bierfestival, 3 February 2018. 8/4/7/3/18=3.7
Forgot I had this so recently; bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. Labeled 2017. Pours hazy brown with a slowly dissipating, frothy, tan head; little lacing. Aroma of raisin, almond, sweetbread, plum, ripe pear, caramel, green tea with sugar. Taste is medium malty sweet, plum, caramel & dough, faint fruity sour before turning light herbal bitter, cold tea-like with a rough nutty edge. Dryish, herbal & even piney hoppy finish, lingering maltiness, caramel & plum, small dash of warming liqueur alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Nice balance from the hops.

Cellared 2013 version. Aroma’s malty, roasty, bit of toffee. Flavor’s like nose, plus hint of molasses, and just right carbonation. Great body with a little bitter in the finish. Nice beer.
