"Zinnebir X-Mas? No, WINTER MESS!
The name has changed, not the recipe! Our winter beer is back, with her caramel and chocolate flavours, the creamy foam, her fruity nuances, and her dry and bitter finish."

330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.fr. Pours deep brown. Aroma is spice and sweet malt. Taste brings a Belgian dark ale candi sugar sweetness with some noticeable spice and dried dark fruits. Tasty.

330ml bottle from Belgium in a Box - Body is a hazy chestnut brown with a preposterous massive light tan head. Nose is grains and spicy Belgian yeast. Taste is spicy yeast with raisin, dried fig, cherry, toasted nuts, grapes and sugar cane. Not as syrupy as I’d expected in the mouthfeel, and feels a little flat and thin. Other than that, enjoyable.

Kolor: ciemny brąz, opalizujący, klarowny.
Piana gęsta i kremowa, w kolorze beżowa, średnio i drobno pęcherzykowa, trwała.

Bottle 2014: Nose is caramel, malt, earth, very soft coffee, hint of spice. Taste is pronounced malt, leather, nut leading to an overly pronounced wood note, then finishing with light spices It?s a nice beer, but the big wood flavour in the middle was not quite right for me. Bottle 2016: nose is spice caramel, toffee, Brown sugar, malt, earth, cloves. Taste is dry, malt, little coffee, leather, wood, spice, leading to a dry dusty, earthy finish. Enjoyed it much more in 2016

Clear dark amber colour, white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, straw, light metallic. Sweet malty flavour, light bitter. Rather fizzy. Malty finish, burnt caramel, lingering metallic notes. Absolutely not bad, was expecting a bit more from De La Senne though. Allas, with so many other great brews from these Brussels brewmasters to enjoy..
