"Zinnebir X-Mas? No, WINTER MESS!
The name has changed, not the recipe! Our winter beer is back, with her caramel and chocolate flavours, the creamy foam, her fruity nuances, and her dry and bitter finish."

Süßlich malziger Beginn. Dabei tritt die Süße schnell in den Hintergrund, das Malz steigt deutlich an, röstig, der Alkohol ist deutlich erkennbar. Insgesamt rund, trockener Nachhall. 11/10/9/10/10/10

Bottle. Mig’s World of Wine, Brussels. 8.5%. Hazy, copper colour. Thin, off white head. Nose has sugary, spicy malts. Fruity esters. Some tangy hop. Notes of Christmas spice, although that could well be imagined. Taste is sugary sweet, with a surprising, full hop tanginess. Smooth mouthfeel. Long, fruity bitter finish. Very nice. Punchy stuff.

Bottle. Pours opaque coffee black with larger light brown head. Aroma is malt, caramel, prunes, (warm) elderberry juice, iron and hints of licorice root. Taste is light to medium sweet, light to medium bitter and light acidic. Body is oily with lively carbonation. Finish is a bit short and mostly sweet with notes of malt, caramel, syrup, prunes, cinnamon, black currant jam and apricot. Not very Christmasy

Bottle at home. Reddish brown witg big creamy off white head. Cognac, dried apple, berries, spices with cinnamon, cloves, cardamom. Light marzipan and more dried and cooked fruits. Medium sweet with herbal bitter finish and quite some alcohol. Medium bodied with slight prickly carbonation and a bit of a boozy feel. Nice beer, though maybe a bit too boozy.

33 cl bottle vintage 2014 @ home
Aroma is fruity and spicy with some yeasty notes. Flavour has spicy tones, apricot, yeasty tones, semi-ripe fruits and some funkiness. Nice, just the right amount of spices here.
